Born Pretty Store - Lip Gloss Swatches & Review

Hey All!
So I Received these lip products a few months back from Bornprettystore and I am finally sharing my review and swatches of these with you after using it for months!!

I will share my views on each along with their info.
So lets jump right to it.

First one is Time on my lip 08 - It's a gorgeous mauve pink lipstick, it has a matte finish but it doesn't dry out my lips which I really love about this one, Also It was not patchy or anything as you can clearly see in the picture.

Next, is Born Pretty Lipstick No 11 - It's an eggplant purple pink, It also has a matte finish and keeps my lip moisturized, although when applied, appears a little patchy or leaves bald spots at some places but when applied twice, I guess it will be good.I personally liked how it looked on me as I am brown skinned, it looked great.

Last one is  Lip tint - Its a lip tint in reddish pink shade, it has to applied like a gloss covering your entire lip and let it dry, once it dries peel it off and your lip will be stained in pink color, I absolutely loved the concept the first time I used it, but the application process is a bit messy as it comes in a squeeze tube, you need to use lip brush to apply it and since it dries quickly, your lip turns out to be a whole mess if you don't apply it quickly, but I believe the result are worth the mess at least to me.

Overall, if you are looking for cheap yet good lip glosses, you might wanna consider these.

I am a huge Disney fan so I absolutely loved it like every other Disney fan!!
So Talking about beauty and the best, I have Moo Moo's Limited edition duo Swatches to share with you which was inspired by this movie. You will know once you see the polishes, I won't even need to name them, but still, I will do. LOL #Bloggingrules

So now that you have seen both the pretty shades, you know which one is inspired by the beautiful gown belle Wears and which one from the beast outfit!!
So Let's Look at more swatches!! Shall we?

Dancing With Beauty: A stunning dusty yellow base with silver flakies and golden yellow shimmer in it, the combination of both these along with the yellow base makes it look super gorgeous just like the outfit Emma Watson wore in the movie. Shown here are 2 thin coats, plus top coat.

The Beast Is A Prince: It's a duty dark blue with yellow shimmer, although the shimmer didn't appear much on my swatches but it was quite visible in person. But it's an older formula, Mei Mei reformulated this colors and now the shimmer is stronger and very much visible !!

Kaliedoscope Brights - Swatches & Review

Hey All!!
Miss me?? :D
First of all I would like to apologize for the lack of posts past couple of months, I have been very busy in life, but I planning to get back to blogging, so hopefully, I will!!

Today's post is to share swatches of the Kaleidoscope Brights Polishes, I have tried this brand and their neons before and I absolutely loved them back then, keep on reading to know my thoughts on these 4.
Kaliedoscope Brights

Swatch info: Used 2 coats (1 thin + 1 thick) for all of these, sealed it with a glossy top coat from El Corazon and its clicked in an artificial soft light. Colors may vary a little depending on your monitor settings.

So let's begin!!

Kaleidoscope 04: A beautiful bright pink creme, formula wise it was very nice and buttery, covered really well with 2 coats, no bald spots whatsoever.

Kaleidoscope 04

Kaliedoscope 06: A bright neon parrot green, super amazing formula, unlike other green neons I tried, this one didn't disappoint me with an uneven application or bald spots.

Kaleidoscope 06

Kaleidoscope 11: A subtle coral creme, the color didn't appeal to me as its a very common color, its formula was good.

Kaleidoscope 11

Kaleidoscope 12: A gorgeous sea green creme, my camera was not able to capture its entire beauty but it's just so damn gorgeous slightly darker than the shown picture, you should definitely have such color in your stash. This one was my first!!! And I loved it.

Kaleidoscope 12

So Overall I loved them all but if you ask my favorite it would definitely be Number 12, perfect sea green!!

You can get these as well as their other polishes from their online store.

Pond Snowflake Nail Art using Harunouta plate L001

Hey All!
Today I am back with a new nail art to share with you. It's very cold here where I live and its perfect time to do snowflake nail art although it never snows here.:P

I did this nail art in collaboration with Anita from Stylethosenails, and she was the one who came up with the idea of doing snowflake mani using the pond technique.

So for this design I started with China Glaze Innocence as my base then Stamped the snowflake design onto my nail from the Harunouta Stamping Plate L001 available at Bornprettystore.com, applied one thin coat of Azature silver diamond and then once it was dry I applied the Innocence once again to create a pond effect and repeated the same steps like previously one more time and finished with a fast drying top coat.

This stamping plate is pretty amazing for the winter season as it has lots of ornaments and snowflake and also a tiny snowman. It has perfect etching, even the minute design picks up very nicely.

That's It, Supre Easy Right!!
Hope you like this design! Follow my blog for more upcoming designs and swatches.

Safe-T Nails Manicure & Pedicure Kits - Review

Hey, lovely people!
Today I have a product review for yo guys which happens very rarely here on my blog :D

Safe-T Nails Manicure & Pedicure Kits

I recently received Waterless Manicure and Pedicure Kits from a brand named Safe-T Nails and I loved their concept so much that I just couldn't wait to use it and share my experience with you guys.

So The Safe-T Nails Manicure, Pedicure, and Pedicure Pro Kits are an exclusive line of waterless nail care solutions that are 100% disposable. Every kit is designed to minimize the risk of contracting or transmitting diseases by providing separately packaged manicure tools for individual use. Safe-T Nails Manicure, Pedicure, and Pedicure Pro Kits provide the highest quality manicure and pedicures, all while leaving hands and feet feeling renew, refreshed and luxurious.

So As you can see I got all the 3 kits and a Safe-T Nails Handle which is a reusable tool which holds the anti-germ buffering system for a completely hygienic exfoliation of feet which is sold separately.

Safe-T Nails Manicure & Pedicure Kits

As I tend to wash my hands quite often, my hands dry a lot and gets patchy especially in this winter season, so I decided to try out the Manicure Kit for my hands.
This kit contains:
Safe-T Nails Manicure & Pedicure Kits

  • 1 pair of plastic gloves with active cream
  • 1 disposable towel
  • 1 nail stick
  • 1 nail file
  • 1 nail buffer

The same things are in the pedicure kits except for the gloves which are replaced by plastic socks.
There is step by step pictures behind every kit for proper guidance. Still, I am gonna show you how it worked for me with step by step pictures.
Safe-T Nails Manicure & Pedicure Kits

First I removed my nail paint and filed my nails with the file provided ion the kit.

Safe-T Nails Manicure & Pedicure Kits
Then I gently buffed my nail bed with the provided buffer.

Safe-T Nails Manicure & Pedicure Kits
Once that is done wear the gloves and massage your hands and cuticles and leave it for 5 minutes.

Safe-T Nails Manicure & Pedicure Kits

Safe-T Nails Manicure & Pedicure Kits
Cut open the tips of the gloves, one finger at a time and using the nail stick clean the cuticles.
remove the gloves once all the dead cuticles are removed, then clean the excess cream using the disposable towel.

Safe-T Nails Manicure & Pedicure Kits
Apply your favorite base coat and you are done.

I can't wait to try out the pedicure kits now since I am very satisfied with how my hands and nails feel after this much-needed love.

In my opinion, I loved this concept of going waterless. It has many pros and basically no cons.
Pros:
  • It's hygienic as these are disposable and one-time use kits, the chance of virus and fungal infection is minimized.
  • Faster than the old water soaking method as it takes only 10 minutes for the entire process to complete.
  • Affordable as its very cheap and at low cost as compared to the water and electricity we waste on the manicure machines etc.
  • Quality wise it's excellent, I still can feel the softness of my hands. The active cream in the gloves smelled divine.
  • Perfect for salons, Hotels and frequent travellers.

Holographic Powder Nail Art Using Holo Powder

Hey, all!
Today I bring you yet another Nail art but this time it's a very simple one yet classy looking(At least to me):P

Holographic Powder Nail Art

AS you all must be aware of these holographic/ chrome powders that are popular market by now. So I recently got this Holo Powder from Bornprettystore and instead of reviewing it by simply applying it on black gel polish, I thought of doing a nail art with it.

Holographic Powder Nail Art

So first of all let me explain how it works. It only sticks to gel polishes whether it's a gel base or gel top coat. They say if you are using a top gel then it should be a non-wipe one, but I used the wipe one and it still worked. You only need a little amount of powder to cover your entire nail. What I love about this powder is that they have very intense linear holographic finish in it which is even visible under lowest light source.

Holographic Powder Nail Art

Okay so moving onto the nail art, I used Painted Polish Mulled wine by moonlight as base, then I topped it with A gel top coat from Sparkle and Co. cured it and then I placed two french tip vinyl, one near the cuticle making a semi-circle and second near the edge as we do for french tip nails, then simply wiped the powder using the silicone brush which comes with it leaving the centre part of the nail. Once done removed the vinyl, took some striping tapes and placed them diagonally one by one in the middle space we left earlier starting from top right to down left then top left to down right ending up making tiny squares diagonally. Then just did the same thing with the powder, removed the tapes once done and applied gel top coat in the end to seal it. That's it.
