Zoya Thrive Spring Collection - Swatches & Review

Hi there!!
How have you guys been? I've been MIA for a while now and ironically my last blog was about the Zoya Winter Collection so in a way I come here just to write about Zoya Collections? 😑
Well this habit of mine got to change and I hopefully will change it before the next Zoya collection reaches me 😉

Zoya Thrive Collection

Since spring is here or at least in most of the countries,  BTW tell me in the comments section if spring has started where you live?

Moving on with the collection, So Zoya has named this year's Spring Collection as Thrive Collection,

They quote
Rich pigmented hues flourish in this new SPRING collection from Zoya! Experience the emergence of color from a dusty gull gray metallic to a vibrant lilac purple. Included in this collection is Leisel – a sheer sparkly topper that can be worn alone, or layered over other colors."

Okay so I have tried all of them and as my expectations, they always keep me happy with the formula, never disappointed ever by Zoya Formula, maybe because its 10 free formula which eludes most of the harmful chemicals.

Let's get on to the swatches now

DARBY- A Gorgeous light blue with blue shimmer in it which is not that prevalent without strong light. Shown here is 2 coats without any top coat.

Zoya Darby

Zoya Darby

TRUDITH - A lovely muted purple creme, not a unique or new color but got a great formula so goodie good. Shown here are 2 coats and no top coat.

Zoya Trudith

BRANDI- A mediuim toned blush pink, you know there is that one color in between two good color ranage which will always look bad on your skin tone, this is that color, i feel. Shown here are 2 coats with nopo top coat.

Zoya Brandi

MONROE - A dark toned pink creme, always look good on my skin tone. Shown here are 2 coats without top coat.

Zoya Monroe

LEISEL - A Beautiful shimmery shade in pink, very light in opacity though. Shown here are 3 coats without top coat.

Zoya Leisel

Zoya Leisel

HARUKO - A lovely light lilac with light purple shimmer in it, not my kind of color but still looks good. Shown here are 2 coats without top coat.

Zoya Haruko

Zoya Haruko

Overall I wont say I loved the collection because the color range was not something my skin tone looks good with but other than that specific issue the formula and application was perfect, no issues whatsoever.

Zoya Party Girls Winter Collection Swatches & Review

Hey All!
I know I am a little late to post these and i deeply am sorry about that as I was very busy during the holidays as well as before that as I took 31 days of Halloween nail art challenge and following that the 25 days of Christmas nails, although I couldn't finish them both completely I did my best and in between all this I got sick twice. so yeah I am really sorry but I am posting them today. So hope you forgive me :)

Formula wise each one of them is just amazing, I can never complain about the formula of Zoya because they just not give me a chance to get disappointed.

now let's look at the  colors,

Solstice: Its a light coral with a bit of gold shimmer in it. this one was a one coater genius so I just went with 1 coat.

Tawny: Its a coppery rose metallic polish with some golden bronze flecks in it. Love this colors as it complements my skin tone. Shown here are 2 coats with no top coat.

Ming: It's a gorgeous rosy red creme. It's the absolutely gorgeous red you will see ever. I just loved it. Shown here are 2 coats without top coat.

Blake: It's a dark navy jelly blue with golden shimmer in it. It looks really vampy and beautiful. Shown here is 2 coats, no top coat.

Danielle: A Darker version of periwinkle blue creme. Shown here are 2 coats, no top coat.

Delaney: It supposedly looks like a multichrome purple in the bottle, but when applied it didn't show any shades at all so a bit disappointed with that, but if you like purples, its a beautiful looking pearl polish. Shown here are 2 coats without top coat.

Fallon: It's a stunning magenta pearly finish polish. this looks so so good in person than in camera, such a gorgeous shade for every skin tone. Shown here are 2 coats without top coat.

Nadia Its a mettalic gold sheer polish, It can be worn on its own or on top of any color but I decided to wear on it own so here its 3 coats of it without top coat.

Landon: It's a lovely grape purple creme. Shown here are 2 coats, no top coat.

Kelsey: A fuschia pink creme. shown here are 2 coats, no top coat.

Isadora: Its a stunning purple-magenta with a pearly finish. shown here are 2 coats without top coat.

Sheri: A Gorgeous dark toned red creme. Shown are 2 coats without top coat.

So here you have the Zoya Winter collection 2017! What do you think?

My Top Picks: Sheri & Fallon

BeautyBigBang Review + Nail Arts

Hey all!
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas with your families.
I sure had and put on a lot of holiday weight as well:D
Anyway! As my last blog post for this year, I have few item review I got from Beautybigbang to share with you.

So without any further ado lets get started!

The first thing that I got from them are these coffin-shaped clear false nail tips.

As this was my first time using any false tips on my nails, I was kind of skeptical if they would work for me or not, and the first time I tried, I used very little nail glue and tips ended up coming off the other day, so I decided to go with a bit more glue this time and they stayed for like a week and for me that was more than enough. Now to talk about their sizing, I kinda had a very hard time to find my right sizes, and eventually ended up trying the maximum number ones for all my nails, maybe because my nails were not wide enough. Anyway, I loved these and I still have them on my right-hand nails.

Next item which I got is this stamping plate, now I know Christmas is over that's why I did this new year design using the fireworks image from this plate.

I really liked how the images came sharp and clear from this plate. For my base, I used Dance legend Aurum and then stamped using some chrome powders from mitty.

The last time which I received is these two glitter tapes in black and green color.

They are supposed to be used as a design tape on your nails, but I was highly disappointed with its durability as they start to come off right after I did my mani even after I top coated it, maybe I should have top coated it twice or thrice? I don't know!Maybe!
I did these simple glitter tip nails with the black one and for my accent nail did the stripes.

Anyway, that's it for my review of these items, for the website sure have great things to say as they have large varieties of items to select from and also their packaging is pretty great.

Bornprettystore New Powders Swatch & Review

Hey All!!

Back with another Bps review, this time it's their glitter powder and also the newest release mirror powder.
I am not a huge fan of powders but since these looked really good on the website, I had to try them out and see if they are any way similar to what they look on the website.

Starting off with my favorite out of the two,

This is Gold Holo 0.2 mm glitter and it looks divine on my nails. I have to say!!
SO pretty so gorgeous, I cannot stop appraising its beauty for this reason. Use it on Gel base and dust it all over your nails then cure your nails and remove the excess. And voila!!

Look at that macro!Tho!!

Okay moving on to the last one!! It's a Mirror chrome.

One Coat of Chrome Powder

Apparently, it was supposed to look like a mirror chrome too :\ But for some reason, I could not spread the powder to the entire nail as you will see below I did two coats for it to completely hide the base but it just couldn't. Maybe because I didn't use gel color base as they advised and only Gel Topcoat, but really what is the use of gel color when you are gonna apply the powder yo the gel top coat only??

Two Coats of Chrome Powder

If anyone of you knows the answer, clear my mind down in the comments.:)

So that was it for today!!

BornprettyStore Top Coats Review +Nail Arts

Hey All!!!
Today I am back for a quick and short review on few of the Top Coats that I got from
Two of them are Gel Topcoats and remaining one is a regular one but with an exceptional quality which we are about to see.

Okay, so the first one is Born Pretty No Smudge Topcoat. It is supposed to be used over your nail art or even just plain nails, but to try it out I used it over the most likely to get smudged nail art and that is Zig Zag lines!!!!
AM I right!!?? They get smudged so easily and so bad. So I had to try this Topcoat over it and to my surprise, it actually didn't smudge it at all! And it's a fast drying too!! Double Score !:D

Although it does come with a drawback, it smells like some antiseptic liquid that is used in hospitals, but if you can ignore that, it is the holy grail top coat you need for your smudgeless( If it's even a word) art.

Next one is Bornpretty Uv\Led Gel No Wipe Topcoat, you heard me right, it's a no-wipe which I was looking for for quite some time now. It does fulfill its purpose, it does give you a shiny glossy finish without any sticky layer, but..but..but.. it did have a major drawback which I sure wasn't able to ignore and because of which I would not give a 10/10 and that is, it was very gooey which made it very hard to evenly apply it all over my nail, not sure if it was a defected bottle or just how it is, whatever it is, I didn't like it very much!

For the nail art, i used this gorgeous black with holo snowflake foil from bornprettystore as well.

The last one is my absolute favorite, it's a Bornpretty Matte no Wipe Topcoat, and oh man!! the finish it gives its just so amazing!!! I love it, does all its work and the best part is its formula was so good to apply.

So that's it for today guys!!
